We would like to express our sincere condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and members of the Royal Family following the death of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away today at the age of 99.
Prince Philip has been a dedicated member of the Royal family. As the longest serving consort in history, he has served our country with distinction since marry Princess Elizabeth in 1947.
The Duke served during the Second World War and later gave up his career in the Royal Navy following the death of King George VI in 1952 and ascension of Queen Elizabeth II to fulfil his duty as consort to Her Majesty the Queen. He has been an inspiration to all generations, founding The Duke of Edinburgh's Awards scheme in 1956 to help young people self-improve through charitable work.
